Day 4 - Firday 2nd October  2009

The night started with a bang, with guest judges including Anthea Turner and Ben Adams, who entertained the audience with a fantastic performance that set the atmosphere for what would be a night full of talent and surprise, The first act out this evening Was 16 year old Tatiana De Souza at just 16 years of age Tatiana cammanded the stage at Milton Keynes theatre, showing confidence and proffessionalism, Tatiana sung the popular song spotlight which proved to be a popular choice with the judges and also the audience, such a big song would usually have proved difficult for your average teenage girl but Tatiana made it her own, "Amazing voice" commented Ben Adams to which most of the audience agreed with, a further comment from 'the judge with the grudge' Kevin was "Capable of winning" at that it was time to move on.

Second up on heat 4 of MK's top talent were brother and sister dance duo Rae and Davey Grey, at 12 and 14 Rae and Davey were amongst the younger people in the heats, however they did not let this stop them giving their all. As they waslked on stage what they presented to the audience was completely unexpected. Starting out fairly comical at first it seems as though you are watching a comedy double act, however tis view was quickly changed as the dance moves unfolded. The pair used dance styles similar to Jazz and Ballet that were able to both tell and story and allow for extreme characterisation, although the pair did not have the biggest fan base out of the performers they were still warmly welcomed and given a massive cheer, "you made your way into our hearts" were the words of Anthea turner, showing that these two had something special.

Matilda Riley graced the stage next with her rendition of Lemar's Easy, she was said tp have had a very distinctive voice. That voice most certainly helped Matilda fight her way to the heats. Although a small young girl her voice was strong and held the stage, making the audience want to watch her, Even though Matilda was comfortable up on the stage unfortunately it was not enough to get her through to the finals however it is now clear that the 12 year old will not give up on jer dreams and she will use her years to her advantage and one day make it big.

After an amazing opening to the show it was time to up the stakes as 9 year old Cameron Farrelly took to the stage, Singing and dancing to Robbie Williams' Rock DJ, Cameron had a "very clever choice of song" commented Kevin, It allowed him to blast out his personality whist trying his best to entertain the audience, and entertain he most certainly did. His confidence oused as his shouted at the audience to join in, and it worked. Cameron brought the energy right up, he bounced around the stage and made the audience want to watch him.

After an opening of bouncy fun act's it was time to bring it down a little, with 65 year old Keith Gamble, unlike the other acts Keith performed two songs, the first of which was Come fly with me, by frank sinatra which was decribed and being "in your comfort zone" however he changed their view with his second song, Crazy little thing called love, It was both energetic and entertaining, throughout the performance the audience clapped along as well as the judges, the atmosphere was one of the best of the evening.

Sophie Clark age14 took to the stage next with her guitar and gave a beautiful rendition of the Saturdays, ‘Issues’. The jusdges commented on how she looks at home on stage, and were very impressed with her intonation in the way she sung the melody and how she played around with it. Sophie enjoys covering her favorite artists but also loves writing her own songs.

Next up was little Ella Austin age 9 who gave a soulful performance, she started out very nervous, but turned it into amazing energy, her voice started out soft and cute, then she belted the voice out in a very soulful mature way, a massive shock to everyone. ‘You set yourself a mountain to climb and you climbed it! True star quality’ were just some of the comments.

Haddon Beats, a group writing their own music and performing it beautifully!

‘Massive amounts of energy, all of the audiece are up on their feet, enjoying the performance, the whole way through they smiled which in turn made the audience smile!’ commented the panel. A really entertaining performance.

Tonight Holly and Ella got through to tomorrow night’s final, both of these acts showed potential and star quality mentioned the judges. So the heats are now over! Tomorrow night will determine who will be Mk’s top talent and win that place in the panto! Hope to see you all down there supporting your favourites! I know I will be!
